A question..

I get updates from the One Ring on a lot of their articles. Lately, it's about the Rings of Power. I read the attached video link from the One Ring and wondered what ya'll thought of it. Are you all planning on watching the show? I will be just for kicks and giggles.

Obviously, this gentleman knows WAYYYY more about Tolkien's works than I. I confess I found the Silmarillion hard to get through ...I just had trouble following it. I think it was the names of the characters seemed alike and I couldn't keep them straight. But this was when I was fairly young, so I'm planning a re-read soon. I loved hearing his point of view, tho'.
In other news, I have been gone so long I fear everyone has gone on to Dreamwidth. I am desperate to see ya'll again. It has been ages. I feel so disconnected and well, frankly, lonely. Does anyone have any plans for next year, or even this year...I have people visiting through mid October, then there's the holidays...Does anyone even feel like I do anymore? I don't want the friendships we made, to just fade away. I love you guys, and consider you part of my family. I just miss the laughter, drinking and fun we had.
